Hilarious, Wholesome, Thought-provoking Comedy

Stand up Comedy Isn't Easy, But Fun and Rewarding

Spreading the gospel through comedy and theater to attest God's unconditional love and purpose for my life.
        PLE hosts two events semi-annual:
  • Mother's Day Eve Dinner and Comedy Show (2019)
  • End-of-Summer (All White Attire), Comedy Show and Line Dance Party! (2019)

I believe that comedy is not learned but an innate gift that God has instilled in certain individuals. This is what you are born to do. However, you have to perfect your gift by mastering the tricks of the trade, such as: timing, joke writing (i.e., premise, setup, and punchline), as well as stage etiquette. More importantly, you have to practice your routine until it is second nature, and continue to write new jokes. Improv is wonderful if you are good at thinking on your feet, which also requires practice.

Lastly, never use the audience as the target of your jokes or the reason for being on the stage. Come prepared to entertain or minister your audience with prepared routine.

No Joke
When I tell people I am a comedienne, they say, "tell me a joke or make me laugh," I tell them, "Salvation is free, but my jokes will cost you."  Now, pass the plate. - Platinum
